Costs 1 pack of cigarettes – little to no money.
If you want to support the work of an indie developer, sole proprietor, this is a great chance to do so.
Took me over a month to develop it and write the documentation – I think it is worth the money.
You can use it to make your game on your website or publish on facebook.
The template is good for learning too, if you want to learn Flash or programming basics – all well commented.
I plan to add many more items, templates and assets and graphics in the future of games of mine that have had great interest – 3-4 million plays – here is one http://www.y8.com/games/headsmashing_world_cup – 2 700 000 plays and counting on y8.com ONLY. Imagine if you have ads on a game like this one( I have summed at least 10 million plays on the major portals… and I plan to offer the source code for 10-12 USD here.

GAME INFORMATIONThis is a side-scrolling jumping game template.
Coded in AS3.0 OOP.
Works with Flash CS 4/5/5.5/6;
All elements are easy to edit directly in the Flash IDE.
The character parts can be replaced once, and all changes will take place in the rest animation states (running, single jump, double jump, slip, crash, falling, end). There are 3 main obstacles (randomly generated):
– big block (can become chimney) – triggers END animation;
– medium block (can be bricks for example) – triggers CRASH animation;
– small block (can become puddle or ice) – triggers SLIP animation;
The floor elements are with random length, constructed from instances of the object “groundPart”.
The speed of the game is increased by each passed block.
The background contains 4 layers, moving with different speed (making the optical illusion of movement):
– moon/sun layer – low speed;
– sky layer – higher speed;
– clouds layer – even higher speed;
– buildings layer – highest speed;
Using the UP-ARROW key OR clicking with the mouse ONCE, will trigger the SINGLE jump.
Using the UP-ARROW key OR clicking with the mouse TWICE, will trigger the DOUBLE jump.
The sounds and sound control are in their own class.
There is a preloader on Frame 1. All dynamic classes are exported in Frame 2 – ensures accurate preloader loading.
The distribution version (which you will get by purchasing this item) includes a demo example of a game created with this template.
The original file is with resolution 800×600, but the template can be made to fit any resolution.
Well-documented PDF file is attached, which contains detailed information how to fill the template.
